FAQ

Questions buyersactually ask.

What we hear from CEOs, COOs, and CIOs evaluating Collectivus — answered straight, not wrapped in startup gloss.

The product

What exactly is Collectivus?

Collectivus is a managed AI workforce platform. You don't buy a tool — you stand up a Collective: a small team of named digital workers (sales, ops, marketing, finance, HR, IT) who share context, hand off to each other, and run inside a governed AWS deployment we deploy and operate for you.

How is this different from ChatGPT, Copilot, or another bot?

Bots and copilots help one person draft something. Workers own a role: they run on a schedule, share context, integrate with your stack, and produce real output you can hold accountable. We use the word “workforce” deliberately — because you should be able to point at a worker and say “they own this outcome,” not “they help me sometimes.”

Are the workers real people or AI?

AI. Each worker is a named persona with a specific role boundary, in-scope and out-of-scope tasks, and a defined accuracy bar. They look and feel like a teammate because they operate like one — but every output runs through Iris (our QA worker) and into the human approval flows you configure.

Who is Liam, and why is he included with every Collective?

Liam is your AI IT team. He provisions access, wires up your tools, rotates credentials, monitors infrastructure, handles security alerts, and runs the IT service desk for your team. He's included with every Collective because he's the reason you don't need to hire, rent, or become an IT team to make this work.

Pricing & plans

What does it actually cost?

Three tiers. Team Collective is $499/mo and includes Liam, shared workforce memory, and standard integrations for up to ~10 seats. Business Collective is $1,299/mo and adds SSO/SAML, audit log, admin roles, API access, and priority support for up to 50 seats. Enterprise is custom — private AWS deployment, dedicated delivery team, custom roles. On top of any plan, add named workers from $500/mo (Professional), $1,500/mo (Advanced), or $3,500/mo (Elite).

Can I mix worker tiers?

Yes. Most businesses start with one or two Professional workers and add an Advanced worker for their highest-impact role (typically growth or operations). Liam is already included.

Is there a minimum commitment?

Monthly billing, no long-term commitment. Swap or remove workers anytime. Annual plans save you two months. Enterprise agreements are typically annual with custom terms.

What about a free trial?

For individuals: Solo gives you one named worker free for 14 days, no credit card. For teams: the Guided First Month is a $500 first-month package that includes Team Collective + one Professional worker + a money-back guarantee.

Setup & onboarding

How long does setup take?

Most Collectives are live inside 48 hours. Liam handles provisioning, integrations, and credential rotation autonomously. A human from our delivery team walks you through the handful of things only an account owner can click — first OAuth consents, your access matrix, and the first procurement sign-off.

Do I need an IT team for this?

No. That's the entire point of including Liam. If you already have an IT team, Liam works alongside them; if you don't, Liam is the team for what Collectivus requires.

What integrations are supported?

Out of the box: Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 (mail, calendar, drive), Slack and Teams, common CRMs (Salesforce, HubSpot), helpdesks, and document stores. Custom integrations are part of standard delivery — Liam wires them in.

Do you migrate our existing knowledge in?

Yes. Part of onboarding is loading the documents, processes, and history your workers need to be useful from day one. We index it into a unified knowledge layer that every worker in your Collective shares.

Security & governance

Where does our data live?

On AWS in your dedicated environment. Enterprise customers get a private AWS deployment in their preferred region. Team and Business Collectives run on shared infrastructure with tenant isolation. Full detail on Security & Governance.

Do you train foundation models on our data?

No. We do not sell personal information and we do not train third-party foundation models on your private business data.

What about compliance certifications?

We are honest about this: Collectivus runs on AWS-grade infrastructure with security-conscious architecture and a governed deployment model, but we do not claim certifications we have not earned. Specific compliance commitments live in the Enterprise order documentation.

What controls does an admin actually get?

Role-aware access, human approval flows, accuracy thresholds per worker, full audit log of every action, and the ability to pause a worker or revoke access at any time. On Business and Enterprise plans you also get SSO/SAML and admin roles.

Workforce & customization

Can workers be customized for our business?

Yes. Each worker has a defined role boundary, but their playbook — the language, workflows, escalation paths, and accuracy bar — is configured for your business. Enterprise customers get fully custom personas designed by our delivery team.

Can we add or remove workers later?

Anytime. Workers are line items on your bill. Add an Advanced worker for a launch, remove a worker that's no longer needed, swap one for another. No re-platforming.

Where can I see the full roster?

On the Workforce page. Each worker has a profile with mission, in-scope, out-of-scope, tier, and handoffs to other workers.

Marketplace

Is the Marketplace live?

Not yet. The Marketplace launches publicly later this year. Listings shown today are illustrative of the first wave — pricing and creators will be confirmed at launch.

What does the Marketplace add to a Collective?

Specialist workers built by external experts — domain operators, industry specialists, and Masterclass-style methodology workers. They join your Collective like any core worker; Liam wires them into your stack.

I want to be a Maker. How does that work?

Founding makers wanted. The economics, vetting, and creator tooling are described on the Marketplace page. Reach out via contact if you want to be in the first cohort.

Support & cancellation

What support comes with each plan?

Team includes email support and Liam running your platform. Business adds same-day priority support and admin tooling. Enterprise adds a dedicated human delivery team and custom SLAs.

What happens if I cancel?

Your Collective deactivates at the end of the current billing period. We export your workforce memory and audit log on request. No early-termination fees on monthly plans. Annual and Enterprise terms are governed by your order documentation.

Where can I see your legal terms?

Working summaries are available at Privacy and Terms. Production use is governed by the order form and master services agreement signed at provisioning.
